Năm 2025 là dấu mốc có ý nghĩa đặc biệt đối với Việt Nam, đánh dấu 80 năm Quốc khánh nước Cộng hòa xã hội chủ nghĩa Việt Nam (02/9/1945 – 02/9/2025), đồng thời là năm kỷ niệm 60 năm thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao giữa Việt Nam và nhiều quốc gia đối tác, trong đó có Cộng hòa Thống nhất Tanzania (14/02/1965 – 14/02/2025).

The year 2025 marks a significant milestone for Viet Nam, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (2 September 1945 – 2 September 2025), as well as the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and a number of partner countries, including the United Republic of Tanzania (14 February 1965 – 14 February 2025).

Kể từ khi thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao năm 1965, Việt Nam và Tanzania đã không ngừng củng cố quan hệ hữu nghị truyền thống, tăng cường hợp tác trên nhiều lĩnh vực như nông nghiệp, viễn thông, thương mại và hợp tác phát triển.
Một trong những biểu tượng hợp tác nổi bật là dự án viễn thông Halotel do Tập đoàn Viettel triển khai tại Tanzania, góp phần thúc đẩy phát triển hạ tầng viễn thông và kinh tế - xã hội tại địa bàn.
Hai nước cũng duy trì phối hợp chặt chẽ tại các diễn đàn đa phương, đặc biệt là tại Liên Hợp Quốc và Phong trào Không liên kết.
Phía Tanzania đánh giá cao những thành tựu phát triển kinh tế - xã hội của Việt Nam trong 80 năm qua, coi đây là minh chứng cho tinh thần kiên cường, cải cách và phát triển bền vững. Trong 60 năm qua, hợp tác giữa hai nước được triển khai trên nhiều lĩnh vực, bao gồm đầu tư, thương mại, giáo dục, y tế, nông nghiệp, khoa học và công nghệ.
Kim ngạch thương mại song phương tiếp tục tăng trưởng tích cực, với Việt Nam trở thành một trong những thị trường quan trọng đối với hàng hóa xuất khẩu của Tanzania. Hai bên nhất trí tiếp tục thúc đẩy hợp tác trong các lĩnh vực ưu tiên như thương mại, đầu tư và chuyển giao công nghệ, coi đây là động lực quan trọng cho tăng trưởng kinh tế của cả hai nước trong thời gian tới.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1965, Viet Nam and Tanzania have continuously strengthened their traditional friendship and expanded cooperation across various sectors, including agriculture, telecommunications, trade and development cooperation.
One of the most prominent symbols of bilateral cooperation is the Halotel telecommunications project implemented by Viettel, contributing to the development of telecommunications infrastructure and socio-economic progress in Tanzania.
The two countries also maintain close coordination at multilateral forums, particularly within the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement.
Tanzania highly appreciates Viet Nam’s socio-economic achievements over the past 80 years, viewing them as a testament to resilience, reform and sustainable development. Over the past six decades, cooperation between the two countries has expanded across various sectors, including investment, trade, education, health, agriculture, and science and technology.
Bilateral trade has continued to grow steadily, with Viet Nam becoming one of the important markets for Tanzanian exports. Both sides agreed to further promote cooperation in priority areas such as trade, investment and technology development, which are considered key drivers for future economic growth.

Đây cũng là năm Việt Nam kỷ niệm 60 năm quan hệ ngoại giao với một số bạn bè truyền thống tại châu Phi như Mauritania và Ghana, phản ánh chiều sâu quan hệ đoàn kết, hữu nghị giữa Việt Nam với các nước châu Phi trong sự nghiệp đấu tranh giành độc lập, xây dựng và phát triển đất nước.

In 2025, alongside the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, Viet Nam and Tanzania solemnly commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. This year also marks the 60th anniversary of Viet Nam’s diplomatic relations with several traditional partners in Africa, including Mauritania and Ghana, reflecting the depth of solidarity and friendship between Viet Nam and African countries in their struggles for independence, as well as in nation-building and development.
