Dodoma – Trong khuôn khổ chuyến công tác tại thủ đô chính trị Dodoma, ngày 19/6/2026, Đại sứ Đặc mệnh toàn quyền Việt Nam tại Tanzania Vũ Thanh Huyền đã có chuỗi hoạt động đối ngoại quan trọng nhằm thắt chặt mối quan hệ hữu nghị truyền thống, thúc đẩy hợp tác chiến lược giữa hai Đảng và hai Nhà nước.

Tăng cường hợp tác chiến lược về giáo dục, thương mại và hạ tầng ngoại giao

Đại sứ Vũ Thanh Huyền đã có buổi làm việc sâu rộng với bà Felista Rugambwa, Vụ trưởng Vụ Châu Á và Châu Úc thuộc Bộ Ngoại giao Tanzania.

Tại cuộc gặp, phía Tanzania khẳng định mong muốn thúc đẩy hợp tác giáo dục đại học, coi việc kết nối Đại học Dar es Salaam với các trường đại học Việt Nam là đòn bẩy thúc đẩy phát triển nguồn nhân lực và đổi mới sáng tạo. Đại sứ Vũ Thanh Huyền hoàn toàn nhất trí và cam kết cá nhân sẽ là cầu nối thúc đẩy liên kết học thuật này.

Đặc biệt, Đại sứ Vũ Thanh Huyền gửi lời cảm ơn chân thành tới Bộ Ngoại giao Tanzania đã tạo điều kiện thuận lợi cho các hoạt động của Đại sứ xuyên suốt chuyến công tác tại thủ đô chính trị Dodoma, nhất là chuyến thăm thực tế Khu đô thị Ngoại giao đoàn Mtumba, thăm các khu đất được Chính phủ Tanzania cấp cho khối ngoại giao đoàn, trong đó có Việt Nam. Đại sứ khẳng định, Việt Nam đánh giá cao và ủng hộ tầm nhìn chiến lược của Tanzania trong việc phát triển Dodoma thành thủ đô hành chính tập trung, hiện đại. Đại sứ quán Việt Nam sẽ tích cực phối hợp với khối đoàn ngoại giao cùng đồng hành với Tanzania trong quá trình chuyển đổi mang tính lịch sử này.

Một nội dung trọng tâm khác của buổi làm việc là công tác chuẩn bị cho Kỳ họp lần thứ hai Ủy ban Hỗn hợp Việt Nam – Tanzania, dự kiến vào tháng 9/2026 nhằm mở rộng cơ hội kinh tế trong các lĩnh vực nông nghiệp, thủy sản, viễn thông và đầu tư. Hai bên cam kết phối hợp chặt chẽ để thúc đẩy tiến độ ký kết các dự thảo hiệp định, biên bản ghi nhớ về thủy lợi, công nghệ và giáo dục.

Chuỗi hoạt động đối ngoại song phương dồn dập và thực chất này một lần nữa khẳng định sự tin cậy chính trị sâu sắc, mở ra chương mới trong quan hệ hợp tác toàn diện giữa Việt Nam và Tanzania thời gian tiếp theo./.

Dodoma – Within the framework of her working visit to the political capital of Dodoma on June 19, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Tanzania Vu Thanh Huyen conducted a series of important diplomatic activities aimed at strengthening traditional friendship and promoting strategic cooperation between the two Parties and the two States.

Enhancing strategic cooperation in education, trade, and diplomatic infrastructure
Ambassador Vu Thanh Huyen held an extensive working session with Ms. Felista Rugambwa, Director of the Department of Asia and Australasia under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tanzania.

During the meeting, the Tanzanian side affirmed its desire to promote higher education cooperation, viewing the connection between the University of Dar es Salaam and Vietnamese universities as a lever to boost human resource development and innovation. Ambassador Vu Thanh Huyen fully agreed and personally committed to acting as a bridge to foster this academic linkage.

In particular, Ambassador Vu Thanh Huyen extended her sincere thanks to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tanzania for creating favorable conditions for her activities throughout her working trip to the political capital Dodoma, especially the field visit to the Mtumba Diplomatic Zone and the plots of land allocated by the Government of Tanzania to the diplomatic corps, including Vietnam. The Ambassador affirmed that Vietnam highly values and fully supports Tanzania's strategic vision in developing Dodoma into a centralized, modern administrative capital. The Embassy of Vietnam will actively coordinate with the diplomatic corps to closely accompany Tanzania in this historic transition.

Another key focus of the meeting was the preparations for the Second Session of the Vietnam–Tanzania Joint Committee, scheduled for September 2026, aimed at expanding economic opportunities in agriculture, fisheries, telecommunications, and investment. Both sides committed to collaborating closely to accelerate the signing of draft agreements and memoranda of understanding on irrigation, technology, and education.

This intensive and substantive series of bilateral diplomatic activities once again confirms the deep political trust, opening a new chapter in the comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Tanzania in the coming period./.
